Personal care refers to needs that require a little more one on one attention. These are special needs that at times may not be easy to discuss: like toileting, incontinence care, bathing, assisting and putting on under garments.
Because of the nature of this type of service, when a loved one needs personal care, the family may feel a bit uncomfortable or even embarrassed helping a parent or grandparent in the bathroom or shower. Your loved one may feel more comfortable if someone other than a family member assists them. Our care specialists respect the privacy and dignity of our clients.
